Spoiler-Free Synopsis:
Ari is known for being a little… clueless when it comes to relationships. He’s charming, lovable, and completely unaware of how his actions (and feelings) come across. Vance, on the other hand, is more emotionally aware and grounded but that doesn’t mean he’s immune to Ari’s chaotic charm.
When their friendship starts to blur into something more, both are forced to confront what’s been right in front of them all along. As feelings grow and lines shift, Ari has to figure out what it means to stop coasting and start being intentional especially when it comes to someone who matters this much.
My Thoughts / Review:
This one might be my favorite in the series 👀
Listening to Clueless Puckboy on audiobook made the experience even better. The narration really brought Ari’s personality to life, his humor, his obliviousness, and those moments where everything finally starts to click. It made the emotional beats hit even harder because you could hear the shift in his character as the story progressed.
Ari is such a fun character, but what makes this book stand out is how much growth he goes through. He starts off lighthearted and a little all-over-the-place, but watching him slowly realize his feelings and actually step up—was incredibly satisfying. It never feels rushed either. The “clueless” aspect is played for humor at times, but it also adds depth when you see how it impacts the people around him.
And then there’s Vance… honestly, the perfect match. He brings patience, emotional intelligence, and just enough pushback to keep Ari grounded. Their dynamic feels natural, like something that’s been building for a long time, which makes the transition from friendship to something more feel really authentic.
Out of all the couples in the series, Ari and Vance have officially become my favorite. There’s something about their balance, the humor, the emotional payoff, the growth, that just hits differently. It feels earned, heartfelt, and genuinely memorable.
Would I Recommend It?
Yes, 100%. If you love friends-to-lovers, character growth, and a mix of humor with emotional depth, this one is a must-read (or listen). It’s such a strong addition to the series—and honestly, a standout.
Favorite Moment Highlight:
The moment where everything finally clicks for Ari—it’s equal parts funny, emotional, and completely satisfying after all the build-up.
