I tend to lose myself in activities that allow me to be both creative and present in the moment. Video games are one of those spaces where I can fully immerse myself in a story, strategy, or world-building element, often losing track of time as I explore and problem-solve. Skiing offers a completely different kind of immersion, being outside, moving down the mountain, and focusing on each turn creates a sense of freedom and flow that clears my mind.
I also find myself deeply absorbed in reading and writing. Reading allows me to step into different worlds, perspectives, and ideas, while writing gives me the chance to create those worlds myself and reflect on thoughts and experiences. Both activities feel grounding and energizing at the same time, and they are often where my creativity feels most alive.
